North Louisiana's premier youth sports league for ages 4–12 — developing athletes, leaders, and families through sports, education, and community.
Monroe City Academy League (MCAL) is powered by Free Me Association, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to youth development and community improvement through sports, recreation, education, and mentorship.
MCAL is committed to bridging the gaps between our youth and the community by providing the resources and tools necessary for athletics, cultural exposure, education, and team building — through sporting programs and parental enrichment workshops.

Every champion needs a creed. A.C.E. stands for the three things we teach every athlete who steps onto an MCAL field.
Set the goal. Chase the goal. Celebrate the goal.
How you play matters more than what the scoreboard says.
On the field, in the classroom, at home — earn it.

Photos, videos, and the voices of the families who make MCAL home.

"MCAL didn't just teach my son football — they taught him how to lead a huddle and own a mistake. That's the village at work."
"Coaching with MCAL is the best three hours of my week. These kids show up hungry to learn, and the league makes the rest easy."
"The scholarship covered registration, gear, and bus fare. My daughter is the first cheer captain in our family."
